ENGINEERED Eucalyptus KS is a high-quality, sustainable product with several advantages:

1. Stability: It’s more stable than a solid piece of wood and less prone to movement caused by changes in temperature and moisture during the kiln drying cycles. It’s also more stable than pine LVL.
2. Production: The product is made with glue and pressure, reaching temperatures much higher than in any kiln drying process. The 3/4” product consists of 7 plies, and the 7/8 product consists of 8 plies. All materials are TSCA compliant
3. Weight: The weight of the eucalyptus LVL is 780 kg/m3 on the finished product, making it about 20% heavier than oak (650 kg/m3) and 50% heavier than pine (500 kg/m3).
4. Quality: Most species can have knots, holes, and cracks. However, when producing ENGINEERED eucalyptus, the structural resistance of the wood and stability increase. The knots/holes/cracks that exist in the wood are restricted to each layer of the final product. The other layers will not have such a defect, and if they do, it’s not in the same position. This ensures the piece continues to have extremely high resistance.
